Edible book

Every pre-sleep time is a time for books for TJ. We cuddle up and read to him before his nap and before bed, we have since the very beginning of his life.

He's getting to know the books and has his favorites. So do I, actually.

Today I read to him a book called Baby's First Word Book. Just a big thick board book with photos of things, like shoes, teddy bear, puppy, airplane, etc. Usually I like something with a little more plot, but it was close to the chair.

We read the first two pages on counting. The third and fourth page is "sweet things" - as I read each one - ice cream, melon, grapes, banana, cake, TJ put his mouth on each one and pretended to be eating it, complete with chomping noises. Except for when I said "cake" and "cookie" and pointed at the photo, he shook his head and said "no no!".

Unbelievable. My kid and he doesn't like sweets, even on paper.
