I'm TJ
Mama, in response to T's imitating a monkey: Are you a monkey?
TJ: No, I'm TJ.
Mama: You're a boy.
TJ: No, I'm TJ.
Mama: You're TJ and you're a boy.
TJ: NO I'M TJ!

TJ got in trouble at daycare at the gym today for whacking a little girl with a toy. I don't know the whole story but I'm not impressed.
Then today he wanted "dvd" or maybe he was saying Sesame Street and it wasn't time, so I gave the big N-O, not until after your nap. THWACK. Right across my face.
Second time out of the day.
Just now, finally watching Sesame Street (yes, after his nap), he he was all fired up because he couldn't open the banana and he would let me help him and he sat on it and smushed it right down to the pulp.
I had a dream that Disco Baby is a girl.
My husband is a Furniture Moving King.
I napped so hard, I even dreamed I was taking a nap.
Mama: TJ, what do you want for lunch?
TJ: Ali and Bebe.
I feel this weird sense of obligation to fill out online and print surveys because I think I really can make a difference in the way products are priced, marketed and advertised and I think it's kind of fun.
I am signed up for a couple of the survey sites and I choose to participate in them more than is probably normal.
"Check here if you would like to receive invitations to take part in focus groups, sample new products, or give feedback on new ad campaigns."
Oh,heck yeah, sign me up.
I have enjoyed these last 2 1/2 years immensely.
xo
These last three weeks are going to last forever. I can feel it.
Getting in and out of bed? I have to throw my two legs over the side of the bed first, followed by my belly and then my head - the holder of my now chubby face.
Maternity pants are beginning not to fit me anymore, which is a lot of fun.
I huff and puff for absolute no exertion, compared to usual.
My belly is big and moving constantly.
It will all be worth it. I already love this little girl/guy. If I were a bettin' man, I would place a wager that this one is a girl. Which means some serious shopping is in store.
We'll see.
I will forget so I need to have this written down.
At this point - a little over 37 weeks - I have gained just about 30 pounds, maybe a little less. I have no idea what I gained with TJ.
Just when you think everything has calmed down at our household, a bug decides to attack again. This time our throats. I think it's a small little bug with lots of arms, holding little daggers and stabbing our throats whenever it gets the chance.
I want to do laundry as we have been pretty much out of commission these last couple of days, but considering it's 1:35 a.m., I don't want to make any noise.
I'm also hot.
I also can't manage to wear anything without getting toothpaste on it and having to change.
Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek).
It seems like I have been pregnant forever, but suddenly the time is almost here and it seems like it got here fast.
The last few weeks have been no fun, with TJ being in the hospital and me getting this terrible throat sickness for the past five days.
Still waiting to nest. I hope I have a better project this time than washing the car like last time.
With the due date getting closer, I keep on looking at the expiration dates on certain items, like the milk. Our milk is expiring two days before my due date.
I just brought a roll of toilet paper upstairs and I wonder to myself, "will this be gone before or after the new baby gets here?"
30 Rock on Netflix's Instant Watch feature is sucking away my life 21 minutes at a time.
TJ and I managed to get through 34 minutes of Singing in the Rain this morning. Then he discovered the space bar is also the pause function on the dvd.
We are still watching it at 50 minutes, although he is in a time out, because he was dancing and I told him it was good so he decided to hit me in the belly.
TJ has started to sing along with his dvds and Sesame Street.
He tries his best to sing along to the "abcs" on the Elmo goes to School dvd and I've been wondering if he would start exercising or jumping when the characters do on Sesame Street.
Today was the day.
Grover was jumping and TJ said "I want to jump too!" so I rewound it (yay for the dvr) and he jumped to his little heart's content.
At least until the sketch ended and Grover fell down and so did TJ.
I wake up in the middle of the night because my feet and my hands are so extremely itchy. My feet especially. Weird.
So, I'm 2-3 centimeters dilated and 60% effaced, whatever the hell that means.
So, I'm going to be having a baby tomorrow.
Mama: TJ, what color is an orange?
TJ: pink
Mama: Are they pink?
TJ: No! Blue.
TJ: Ju-ya-ya eating Mama's breast?
Mama: No, honey, she's nursing.
TJ loves this baby. He's definitely getting used to her, though.
I'm going to try to put her down now and hope for the best.
Last night I went to bed too late and she was up from 3 a.m. until about 8 a.m. UGH.
She is so cute. I swear she smiles.
She loves being with us.
We are all in love with her.
Ever since Juyaya has arrived, Amadeus has taken to walking around with one of John's socks in his mouth.
What I did today, while my husband took a much deserved nap:
Cleaned kitchen, emptied and filled dishwasher, picked up living room and dining room. Entertained, played, watched Letter Factory dvd, drew pictures of Pooh Bear, Eeyore and Tigger and made puzzle with two year old. Made a batch of cinnabons. Ate three of the cinnabons. (Before the night is even over, I have completely finished them all. Note: don't buy cinnabons anymore.)
Did all of this while nursing J.
Now she is finally asleep. Just in time for us to be up all night. Hey, we forgive her. She's only five days old.
I thought girls were supposed to be made of sugar and spice but so far it's looking more like pink and fuzzy and mostly bunnies.
