rainy walk

We were all set to go to church. Well, I was. John was. Julia was. TJ, not so much. (He's been a little off lately.)

It was 10:15 and church is at 10:30, and we were still trying to get him dressed. It wasn't happening so we started to explore other options.

Thought about the Culinary Museum at Johnson & Wales that Katie told us about. It is actually open on Sundays. Then John suggested a rainy day walk with our umbrellas, I loved that idea.

We parked at the Lowe's in Cranston and walked for about 1/2 hour on the bike path in the rain, 15 or so minutes each way.

The kids were absolutely soaked, especially their feet and bottom of their pants.

Julia kept on splashing the puddles with her hands. In the middle of the walk, she completely stopped and laid down on the ground, on her back, in a puddle. Twice.
