story without a book

TJ: Mama, will you tell me a story without a book?

Mama: No! You're supposed to be sleeping.

TJ: Pleeeeeassse. I was a really good boy today.

Mama: Just a short one.

TJ: Yay!

Mama: Once upon a time, there was a little boy and he had two fish. He couldn't think of names for them, so he decided to call them Sun and Moon.

Then he said No. I think I will call them Frick and Frack.

Then he said No. I think I will call them Black and Blue.

Then he said No. I think I will call them Georgia and Amadeus.

Then he said No. I think I will call them Up and Down.

Then he said No. I think I will call them A and B.

Then guess what he said he was going to call them?

TJ: What?

Mama: Good and Night.

TJ: giggles.

Mama: goodnight.

TJ: goodnight.
