Julia: Yes.

Julia, in car on way home: Mama, Mama, Mama, Mama!!!
Mama: Yes, honey, do you want something?
Julia: Yes.
Julia: Mama, Mama, Mama, Mama!
Mama: What do you want, Julia?
Julia: I want Daddy.
Poor little Eyes in Space is sick.
Big, cancerous lumps all over her little black 8-pound furry body. They seem to grow overnight.
She has about six of them right now.
Poor little kitty.
I gotta say, she's pretty happy right now though.
Is it wrong that I am looking up cookie recipes as I'm doing my cardio at the gym?
Julia, gazing into my eyes: I see Julia in your eyes, Mama.
TJ hands me a piece of something from the floor, right next to where the candles are in our bedroom.
Mama: What's that?
TJ: It's a wak.
Mama: A wak?
TJ: Yes.
Mama, figuring it out: if it were more of them, would it be wax?
TJ: Yes, but it's just one, so it's a wak.
Getting keratin for the second time ever. Bye bye frizz, see you sooner than I want to, I'm sure.
At breakfas, Julia sneezes.
TJ: Moooooom! Julia just Blessed You all over my food.
Mimi: TJ, what do you want for breakfast?
TJ: A waffle and troll mix.
This is a cute moment.
Julia has TJ's electronic talking alphabet toy and keeps on hitting the button to play the ABC song.
She is sitting across the table from me.
She dances and I dance too.
She looks at me and giggles. I giggle too.
My prediction: really super cool coffee makers.
I bet someone soon will invent some revolutionary coffee making machine that will blow away the Kuerig and the other pod machines.
And I bet it will be simple too.
And portable.
I'm not talking the mac daddies that they use in coffee shops.
And maybe will involve a cell phone. They do everything else, why not make me a latte?
Or in the car! Ooooo.
Speaking of coffee, one is calling my name.
So if I can't exercise an hour a day five days a week, because of kids and work and husband and dogs and cats and laundry and other work and friends and shopping and cleaning and cooking, can I just do it all in one day?
5 hours on Saturday.
Except for one weekend a month.
Kidding. I could never.
I need to figure something out though.
Mama, picking Julia up from school: Hi Julia! How are you?
Julia, looking intently at the side of my face, with alarm: Mama!
Mama: Yes, Julia?
Julia: You have a broken cheek.
Ran a 5k the other day in 30:38 or something like that.
I bet if I exercised more than just running these 5ks every now and then, I would not be complaining about my weight.
At least I'm doing it every now and then. More than most people can say.
I will get back on track.
Soon. Soon. Soon.
I could go on a very long trip with a lot of clothes using only the bags under my eyes.
