...and I've been called it plenty of times
I'm pretty sure that "silly goose" is the three-year-old's version of saying "dumbass."

I'm pretty sure that "silly goose" is the three-year-old's version of saying "dumbass."
Had drill today. Longest day ever.
Got a text from John that said "TJ just sprayed your perfume so he could remember how you smell."

I'm pretty sure that when Words with Friends tells me "Sorry, that's not a word," it's not really sorry.
A book and my bed.
Exactly what I want right now.
TJ calls Rice Krispies "Pop Sizzle Sizzle".
Today I heated up Julia's "warm chocolate milk" too hot.
"MAAAAAMMMMMMAAAA, you didn't make the right choice!" she tells me.
"You are not the best heater."
Hahahaha.
When Julia lets us know that she is not happy with something, or we are not understanding her correctly, her voice drops into a low, gravel-y tone, similar to a big soulful woman singing the blues.
It's very entertaining coming out of such a little 30-pound body.
Today I left work and did the whole pick up/drop off thing with the kids.
I picked up Julia and took her to her last dance class. She was the cutest thing I have ever seen in a little gray dress with a built in tutu, sneakers and white socks. A little bit adorable, a little bit 70-year-old American tourist. She knew she looked cute too. She spoke to me so clearly about her dance shoes and how she could wear whatever she wanted and that she didn't want to eat pizza in the pizza store, but rather at home.
When I got to TJ's pick up and saw TJ, honestly, my heart was just so happy. He was holding his Cars backpack and his Cars umbrella and a picture of an orca, half colored, with a blue crayon in his hand.He didn't seem particularly happy to see me. I, on the other hand, wanted to eat him up.
I listened to them speaking in the car to each other, they weren't fighting, or whining, or yelling, just really talking to each other. It was a nice Mama afternoon.
I use reverse psychology on the kids. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
One time, they were not cooperating with the whole going to bed thing, so I said "ok, we are all going to stay up all night! We can party all night! No sleep for anyone!" It worked. They got so tired that they were telling me it was time to go to bed.
Julia has taken this "party all night" to heart.
Almost every night when we put her to bed, she says "I don't want to go to bed, I want to party all night."
Her and John were having a conversation today and he said "Julia, did you cry in the middle of the night last night?"
Julia: Yes. But then I went back to sleep.
John: That's good, big girls sleep through the night.
Julia. Yes. Sometimes I like to sleep but sometimes I like to party all night.
I showed TJ a picture of a heart, labeled with the ventricles and the atriums and explained to him how our heart works to pump blood through the body.
His response?
"Whoa! That's SO cool."
Today as I pick up TJ, I bend down to give him a hello kiss.
He hesitates, looks around, and gives me a little shake of his head.
PawSox twice in one week!
A very fun time had by all.
