Curly Straight

I had a drink last night. Couldn't finish it because I had a crying baby to tend to, which I wasn't expecting. Instead I sorted the bag of mismatched socks as we cuddled. I matched fifteen pairs of John's and probably about the same number of my own.

And yes, the simple things make me happy.

Seeing TJ's feet with clean, short toenails really makes me happier than it should.

I get such a feeling of satisfaction when a check scans through on my online banking account.

Today JP and TJ are blueberry picking with their friends, is that not the cutest thing ever?

And Julia is sleeping and I'm writing.

How sad is it that I just stretched and felt very lucky to be able to give a big uninterrupted morning stretch since it was probably the first time in at least 6 months.

I actually slept through the whole night last night for the first time in at least a month. Thank you Julia, thank you TJ.

I am ignoring this scratchy pain I am beginning to feel on the left side of my throat.

Today I was going to empty the dishwasher, which I do over and over and over and over and over, and it was empty!!

I like to drink a beer, iron pants, and watch guilt-inducing shows on MTV. All at once. At least the ironing makes it somewhat worthwhile.

Just ordered another pair of leggings. Gap.com. If I go into the mall, I will end up spending too much money, so it's worth it to pay for shipping. Although I found a 20 or 25% discount code, which negates the shipping.

Now I just have to figure out how to justify the packaging that it comes in, the box, the wrapping, etc.

It will be recycled, but still, I feel bad about that for the environment.
